Soichi Terada's returns with his first new album of house music in 25 years. In the interim, he worked composing music for video games and Asakusa Light is a return to form as a master of the Deep House genre.
Terada was well known in the 90's as a house producer and was rediscovered by many listeners as part of Rush Hour's Sounds from the Far East compilation that was released a few years back. This success inspired Terada to try his hand at House music again.
This is a wonderful LP, because it draws on similar inspirations but is coming from the current version of Terada. For example, Double Spire is already available as a single. It prove out that nothing was lost in the interim. The whole LP is a treasure trove of new house music that'll be a wonderful addition to your mixes or a perfect LP to listen to front to back.
