Originally released in 1983 on See Saw Records. The first song on the A-side, “Paradise Beach (Sophie’s Theme),” was produced by Takashi Matsumoto and Haruomi Hosono. The album also includes five other single cuts, including “Midnight Door – stay with me,” which became synonymous with city pop, and the Shiseido commercial song “Neat 3:00 PM,” as well as “Halation,” composed by Miki Matsubara herself, with a Latin touch.
