Their eighth original album was released on December 5, 1988, ten months after their first album “CATCH THE NITE” and only five months after their last album “Mind Game”. In 1988 alone, the band released four albums at a high pace: three original albums and the remix album “Makin’ Dancin’”. The original LP part number is K28A-880. The album version of “Witches” the 14th single released the previous month in November and which reached #1 on the charts, is included on the album. The album contains a total of nine songs, and deepens the collaboration with CINDY, who provided the music for the previous album. Including “Sweetest Lover” which opens the album, five songs are composed by CINDY, and one song is co-written by CINDY with lyrics by CINDY and music by Yuji Toriyama and CINDY.
“Sweetest Lover” was written by Miho Nakayama herself under the name Mizuho Kitayama, and was used as the theme song for her radio program “P.S. I LOVE YOU”. In addition, Chinfa Kang contributed six lyrics and Nobuko Tozawa one song, and the production team included Yuji Toriyama, Kunio Muramatsu, Hiroshi Narumi, and Ichiro Haneda. If the previous album “Mind Game” was a summer-themed album, songs such as “Bad Girl” and “Try Or Cry” express a more urban, more mature, and stylish worldview that seasonally evokes late fall and winter.
