Speedstar Records pressed a limited edition of The World Flying Saucer 1947 LP for RSD Japan 2021 and we're very happy to make it available to you. This LP is a unique combination of styles from Harry (Haruomi) Hosono, who is a master of inhabiting and blending musical styles. (The Discogs page for this LP lists it's genres as Electronc, Folk, World and Country). His skill and ease combining and moving between genres on this LP (and playing classics like Sports Men,) got the album recognized by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award in 2013. They're not just handing those out to anyone! Move fast because Hosono LPs always fly off our shelves, although this may spin/levitate off our shelves like a flying saucer!
