This is the P-Vine 2021 reissue of Yoshiko's 1978 release. Vocals and Piano are at the front of this jazz inflected LP that can be quiet, loud, and sweeping. It is a unique experience, that is familiar in many ways. It does come with an OBI; it isn't pictured.
“Chou no Sumu Heya” (1978) is an extremely jazz-colored album with the Tsuyoshi Yamamoto trio as the back band. A surreal and dynamistic world as if you found an exit from the inner spiritual world to the outer world.
After releasing this album, she stopped her music for 30 years saying, “I can’t write a song I like.”
