This is the 2021 We Release Jazz "regular edition" of Ryo Fukui's Mellow Dream. It is the same brilliant pressing as before, on 140G vinyl, half speed mastered and without an OBI. It sounds excellent and is a great way to get your hands on this LP for retail instead of paying Discogs prices.
This LP is another document of Fukui's ability to make timeless music that stands alongside the greats. Fukui's piano playing is fantastic (as always,) Satoshi Denpo accompanies him on bass along with his brother, Yoshinori Fukui on drums. They create a sound that is familiar, yet also doesn't conform to your expectations.
