Ennio Morricone's score to Sergio Leone's underappreciated film sometimes titled Duck, You Sucker! or Fist Full of Dynamite in English and Gui la testa in Italian. While not as popular as other Leone films, the war is hell message still rings through today, without preaching. The on-screen drama is heightend by Morricone's excellent score.
Many are already familiar with this soundtrack because of it's wonderful main them, with the "sean sean" refrain. Morricone's brilliance is on full display here, as he incorporates opera, whistling and the aforementioned "sean sean" refrain into a lush orchestral score that also is rather quiet when the situation calls for it. This is a wonderful addition to almost any collection, regardless if you're a fan of the film.
