Kiyoshi Yamaya’s first work in the “Japanese melody by PCM recording” series is reissued by Nippon Columbia/Lawson Entertainment. This series may not be for everyone, but having found a cheap original used copy a long time ago, we've come to love it. So of course we're very happy to make this available to our customers!
Side A incorporates Biwa, Shakuhachi and Japanese drums to illustrate the theme of the shrine maiden’s mouth-to-mouth that is handed down to Osorezan on the Shimokita Peninsula. A jazz rock ensemble incorporates new verses into it.
