"Saravah! Saravah!", a newly mixed and mastered version of his solo debut album "Saravah!", has been released on vinyl!
This is a must-listen for fans of Japanese city pop, featuring the classic album "Saravah!", which brought together top musicians, sung by Takahashi Yukihiro in his current form.
"Saravah!" was released by King Records in 1978, and was the first solo album by Takahashi Yukihiro, then 26 years old, on the eve of the formation of YMO. Sadistic Mika Band members Kato Kazuhiko and Takanaka Masayoshi, as well as Hosono Haruomi and Yamashita Tatsuro, participated, and Sakamoto Ryuichi co-produced and arranged the album. When the multi-track recording from that time was discovered, still in good condition, the orchestral parts were left intact, and the vocal parts were re-recorded with Takahashi Yukihiro's current voice for this album. Takahashi commented, "I think that the work from 40 years ago has truly become a work that represents 'my current self'."
