Drum & Tusgaru is a combination of Kida's traditional Japanese shamisen with the funky drums of Akira Ishikawa, and his backing band the Count Buffalos.  Repressed by Cinedelic Records in Italy, this audiophile quality pressing comes with a four page booklet and OBI strip.  The Japanese via Italian description from Cindelic Records summarizes the whole endeavor nicely:
