Timeless idol Yumi Kaoru's Philips Years music available for streaming and limited edition LP released!
With her outstanding proportions, beauty and talent, she made her debut as an actress in the film "Yoru no Bara wo Erase" in 1966. She has demonstrated her multi-talented talents as an actress, model and singer. From 1986, she appeared regularly in "Mito Komon" as "Kagero Ogin", and the bathing scene shown in each episode became a popular feature of the show, taking the world by storm. She is currently applying for Guinness World Records for the "world record for the most number of bathing scenes aired by one actor in one drama series". Yumi Kaoru is still active today, traveling the world.
On October 9th of this year, at the "Grand Ceremony Celebrating 1,200 Years Since the Founding of Shingon Buddhism" held at Toji Temple in Kyoto, she performed a magnificent votive dance in front of the five-story pagoda in the temple grounds, leaving an impression of her beauty.
Her original album "Yumi Kaoru New Album" has been reissued as an analog LP.
The cover is a sealed 180g red vinyl edition with the shocking nude cover of the original, inspired by the track "Honoo no Onna". The nude poster that was included with the original is also included.
The tracks on the album are diverse, following the royal road of Showa rare groove, including her own hit singles "Honoo no Onna" and "Take Off Your Tobacco", as well as a cover of "Tananin no Kankei", a hit song by her colleague Kanai Katsuko from "Les Girls", and a cover of the overseas song "Taboo".
